CHRISTS NFP inspired by the work of Fr. Allam in India & by his revelations about of the life of the children & their families in India & the example he has given in helping the Church in the United States.

Today India is the largest country in the world.  It is a country that officially has freedom of religion.

 

There is great poverty in many parts of India & a great need for educational opportunity, especially for the poor.  According to an article in the Wall Street Journal (6-27-2017, p. A17) by Edward P. Lazear, “The average education level of India is 4.4 years.”

 

Although the Catholic Church has been there ever since St. Thomas the Apostle arrived, taught, performed miracles, & was martyred there, & Christ’s message of the way of love, the truth, & eternal life, continues there to modern times with Mother Theresa & other saints, the Church is only present in a small part of the country (officially less than 2% of the nation is Catholic).  Aiding the poor & revealing Jesus’ message, of inviting others to join God’s loving forever family, is a gift that needs to be offered throughout the country.

 

As Catholics who have received the Holy Spirit, we have been sent forth by Jesus to be His witnesses to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8).
